Venue accounts — what we collect
When you create an account we collect your email address and a hashed password, plus the venue and menu content you enter. When you subscribe, billing is handled by Stripe; we store a customer reference, not your card details.
Menu content is public
Menus you publish are public web pages by design — items, prices, descriptions, and allergen tags are visible to anyone who scans your QR code or has the link. Do not put personal information in menu content.
Diners — what we collect on public menus
When a diner views a public menu we record anonymous analytics events: the page or item viewed, an event type, a random session identifier, and a timestamp. We do not ask diners for their name, email, or account, and these events are not used to identify or track individuals across sites. Venues see only aggregate counts (views and popular items).
Cookies & usage
We use authentication tokens to keep venue owners signed in and basic server logs to keep the Service running and secure. No third-party ad cookies — on the dashboard or on public menus.
Third parties
We share data only with the processors needed to run the Service, such as Stripe for payments. We do not sell data or share it with advertisers.
Retention & deletion
Account data and menus are retained while your account is active. You can delete venues, menus, sections, and items at any time from your dashboard. To delete your entire account and its data, email us and we will remove it within 30 days.
Your rights
You can request a copy, correction, or deletion of your personal data at any time. EU and California residents have the rights afforded under GDPR and CCPA respectively; contact us to exercise them.
